End of August 2011

This is Paxton and Hayden by Todd's derby car this year! Todd got some bad hits, but he did awesome! Both boys love going to the derby! It's a fun time!!

For Paxton's family birthday party we went to Planet Play. It's this pizza buffet game place. Both boys love it! The food's not half bad either! Hayden and Me!

Paxton's first day of Preschool! He goes to Learning Dynamics and his teacher's name is Mrs. Flack. It's going to be a fun year! Can't believe he's so big! Times flies!!

Beginning of August 2011

The beginning of August we went to the St. Anthony Sand Dunes in Idaho. This is our one really big camping trip. We left on a Wednesday and we don't come home until Monday. This is our new trailer and Steve's buggy! This is a really fun trip! There's a little lake and a playground! It's really fun for all of us! On Saturday of the this trip, the motor blew in our buggy. So... we decided to go to Yellowstone for a day trip. We figured we were so close, might as well! This was our first stop! Bear World! What a fun place! You actually get to be pretty close to the bears - well close with a huge fence and a 15 foot deep ditch in between you! Still pretty cool!

This is the whole family at some random hot pot that I can't remember what it's called. The boys really wanted to just run on the wooden walk ways. This made for some paranoid parents! My mind goes straight to worst case scenario! Thankfully, everyone is fine!!

July 2011

July was a busy month! We went to Kennecott Copper Mine the beginning of the month. That's a big hole... if you were wondering! I think Paxton is picking his nose in this picture. Sweet. For our 4th of July activites, we went to the hills of Saratoga and Steve and his brothers went shooting their guns. The boys and I just walked down the trail and looked for cool rocks and bugs! We were going to go watch fireworks, but the boys fell asleep on the way there. Somethings are just not worth waking kids up for...

The middle of July, we decided to take a little picnic! The boys were very excited to pack their lunches up and go to the park! Simple thing, but ended up being so much fun! Love those faces!

This little sand box has become the favorite thing at our house. We have been meaning to build a big sand box since we moved in, but it just hasn't happened. So, this little sand box was acutally at our house when we moved in. So this year we finally filled it up and let the kids have at it! It doesn't matter how hot it is, they are both out there for hours! I finally moved the patio umbrella over so it will shade them a bit. We really need to upgrade next year!

This was at the carnival in Spanish Fork over the 24th of July. I love the pure joy on Paxton's and Oaklee's faces! What a great shot! Cute kids!!!

For the 24th of July, my parents came over and we had dinner and cupcakes! Then Grandpa took the kids to buy some fireworks! We tried to do as many as we could, but we got rained out! So much fun anyways!!

Spring 2011

A bit out of order... but that's how it ends up working in a catch up post! This is Hayden playing at Planet Play the end of May! Cute kid loves that place!! Paxton on the Saturday before Easter. We had an Easter egg hunt at the sand dunes! It was freezing! The kids were fine, but I whined all day cause that's how I roll!!

February 2011

In February we were able to take a way fun vacation to California! Steve's brother Josh and his wife Monica live in San Diego, so we were able to meet up with them! So fun! The first day we went to Hollywood to see the Walk of Fame.... you know the stars on the ground?! This is Hayden and Carter sitting with Mickey in Hollywood! This was one of our favorite rides at Disneyland! Paxton loved the carousel!

Hayden loved it too! We don't usually get much emotion from Hayden! This is pretty much it!! Love this kid!

All my boys riding the Dumbo ride! What a blast Disneyland is! Disney does everything right! A great trip!

January 2011

It was finally barely warm enough to go outside! Hayden really enjoyed the ride from Paxton! Cute boys!!

The beginning of January, Paxton took some basketball classes with Lehi City. He had fun! Sometimes he didn't want to play, he just wanted to sit by Mom... We will see about next year....
